Chasing Impossible

I don’t know what love is very well either, but I hope it feels like this

I'm right and wrong, moral and immoral, good and bad, a hero and a villain, and I've been just as capable of truth as I have been lies.

Have you thought of doing it? Being a cattle farmer? If that's what it's called? I think we should do that, but replace cattle with bunnies and then we don't milk or eat the bunnies. We just let them multiply. Then we'll take over the world. Me the queen. You the king. Our bunnies the army nobody can defeat.

Hearsay, even from the people I love, doesn't equate to gospel truth.

It’s the people who smile at you during the day while plunging a knife in your back that are the monsters.

Hate the sin, not the sinner, isn't that what good people say? Or are you asking yourself at what point does the sin overtake the sinner?

People who live in the luxury of a steady paycheck and food in their bellies get too caught up in right and wrong, moral and immoral, good and bad, heroes and villains, even truth and lies. As if we're all either one or the other. As if we all have a choice. As if I have a choice. But I don't believe in choices. I believe in survival.

I don’t understand love very well and I don’t understand why someone would give it so freely.

Love must be this: six boys who a lot of people threw away. Six boys who society said they were one thing and they turned out to be something else.... something more... something better. Six boys who have hopes and dreams and fears.....and all of those things they keep hidden deep in their souls along with their hopes because society said they aren't allowed to feel. Six boys who set out make money for varying reasons. Six boys who sweat and bled and endured blisters and pain. Heat causing them to tire. A sun that was relentless and unmerciful. Six boys that at the end of the week are quiet as they hand all their money to me.
