Goldilocks: Wanted Dead or Alive

Be brave. Courage is one thing no one can take away from you.

She’s someone who chose courage in a time of fear… someone who showed strength when many were weak… someone who fought for others even when others wouldn’t fight for her… someone who risked her life for the greater good and expected nothing in return… someone who possesses such bravery, such determination, such compassion… well, criminal or not, we should all aspire to be someone like that.

It may sound silly, but the woman who stood up to the army today really inspired me to fight my own battles. I haven't stopped thinking about her . . . she's someone who chose courage in a time of fear . . . someone who showed strength when many were weak . . . someone who fought for others even when others wouldn't fight for her . . . someone who risked her life for the greater good and expected nothing in return . . . someone who possesses such bravery, such determination, and such compassion . . .well, criminal or not, we should all aspire to be someone like that.

Puss in Boots: Sorry, Goldie. We know you love doing the solo thing, but you've got friends now! Deal with it! Goldilocks: I don't know what to say. Puss in Boots: What's wrong? This cat got your tongue? Goldilocks: He's got my gratitude, too.

Sometimes in life you've got to make a stand, not for your survival, but for your soul. And sometimes we have to stay and fight, not because we think we'll win, but because it's what's right.

Goldilocks: So . . . you're a good witch, I take it? Hagetta: I suppose that's just a matter of opinion. Even good people have bad moments from time to time. However, I think it's safe to assume you're not so bad, either.

Goldilocks: No, the world has made up its mind about me, Hagetta. I'm a thief and a fugitive-the end. I'll never be seen as anything else. My story's over. Hagetta: The end is only the beginning of something else. One of these days you'll learn that no one's story is ever finished. Not even yours.

Courage is something no one can ever take away from you.

Goldilocks: I'm sorry I didn't flee with the others like you asked me to. Hagetta: I should have known you wouldn't listen to me, but I"ve never been so happy to be disobeyed. You saved us, Goldie-you saved us all. The entire forest will forever be in your debt. But seriously, Goldie! What in the world possessed you to take on an entire army by yourself? Goldilocks: Someone told me once that courage was one thing no one could ever take away from you. Hagetta: Then there's a thin line between your definition of courage and stupidity. Goldilocks: Sometimes we stay and fight, not for our survival, but for our soul. Hagetta. Remind me to stop being so motivational around you. I'ts going to get you killed.

Did you all hear that? Goldilocks has gone to the border to fight off chance's army by herself! And why, you ask? Because the rest of you were too cowardly to stand up for yourselves! That girl has more courage in one finger than all of you put together! You should be ashamed of yourselves! Well, I don't know about you, but I'm not going to stand around while she dies defending what we should all be fighting for! I've only got two lives left, and I can't think of a better way to spend them than protecting our home!
