Almost Heaven

Because I don't think God trusts just anybody with so much heartache. The world has not yet seen what God can do with a man who gives both halves of a broken heart to him. And I don't doubt that a man like that can change the world...or at least a little part of it.

Music has a way of filling in the missing places. It is a gift from God above, who didn't have to provide it, but He did anyway and I half think He decided life just wouldn't be as good without it.

Somtimes when you know the right thing to do, you simply have to do it, even though it breaks your heart.

It seems to me there are times when you have to act and times when you have to wait, but the hardest times are those when you want to do one but you have to do the other and you're not sure which is the best.

To many, God is not someone you know but something you try to get off your back.

It's funny how aimless a person can feel at times, even when they know God is in control.

God has a way of working on His own timetable. And it usually is a lot different from ours.

People might look at you and say, ‘There’s that woman that was taken to the cabin in Kentucky.’ But God doesn’t look at you that way. He says, ‘There’s my daughter. There’s my spotless bride that my Son died for.’ What happened out there does not have to follow you.

Humans struggle with the underside of the tapestry, unable to see the beauty in their situation, for they cannot know how the trouble of life fits with The Plan.

Thi is the malady onf the humans, that they can hold on to that which is fleeting and of little consequence and call it everlasting. They focus on awards, achievements, and whatc an be done in their own strength while the Almighty desires to work trough their weakness.

[...] the struggle of our lives was not a sign that there was still life. If you stopped struggling, that's when you needed to be worried. The fight meant that God was helping you keep going one more day even if you didn't thik you coould make it.

Sometimes the biggest enemy you have is down deep in your own soul.

Sometimes you have to just shovel away the locusts that have eaten your life and move on the best you can.

Don’t question the purpose of things; just sing along.
